The opportunity for career advancement is basically non-existent. Although they do try to alleviate work stress with ergonomic training, it isn't enough. The hours are brutal and the workplace conditions cause wear and tear on the body. From my experience at Georgia-Pacific along with many of my colleagues and family that work for the company, I can say that they have little to no appreciation for the people in operations, which are the backbone of the company.
